
Rob Moodey is Professor of Public Health at the University of Melbourne. Between 1998 and 2007 he was the CEO of VicHealth.
Rob has worked for Save the Children Fund, Medicins Sans Frontieres, the Aboriginal Health Service in Alice Springs, the Burnet Institute, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, and is currently on the Board of the Australian Research Alliance on Children and Youth (ARACY).
Rob chaired the National Preventative Health Task Force from 2008-2011, and now chairs the federal Minister’s Men’s Health Reference Group.
He is an Ambassador for community organisations such as Whitelion, FebFast, SecondBite, Mandala Foundation, Australia Day and the 20thMan Fund.
He is also the co-author of four books, his latest being Recipes for a Great Life, written with Gabriel Gate.
