Prior to this she was a senior executive with AusAID, responsible for negotiating Australia’s contributions to the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. She also managed Australia’s relations with the United Nations, the Commonwealth, the OECD Development Assistance Committee, non-government organisations, and Australia’s aid to Africa. Julia’s extensive career has included roles in Vietnam and as an adviser at the World Bank.
